OC A is an Istanbul-based architectural design studio founded by Öznur Çağlayan. Fourteen architects, three lines of work, and a network of long-standing engineering and delivery partners.

OC A demonstrates its architectural approach as a result of careful analysis of how contemporary life constantly evolves and changes. Multicultural change, global economic flows, and communication technologies all require new forms of architecture and urban organisation. Our design practice blends traditional functions — living, work, entertainment, hospitality — creating new encounters between the pragmatic and the utopian.
The studio's philosophy rests on three core practice guidelines: research and analysis; strategy, planning and system creation; design and creating value. The studio remains design-led while maintaining strong control over project delivery, quality and contractual processes. Teams are assembled project-by-project, drawing expertise from different units as required.
