M5 House
Volumetric Modular, MatrixLab.
The MU5 House, designed when it is necessary to place modular built structures in areas with high topographic slopes. The building rises on piers extending to the lower levels, and open space functions such as the pool & terrace are resolved at the lower level between the piers.
The residence is accessed from the first floors. The main kitchen and living room are on one arm, and the master and guest bedrooms are on the other.
User needs have paved the way for differentiation in façade and mass. In order to benefit from the sun with maximum benefit, the building is surrounded by sliding system, wheeled, wooden sunshade panels. The panels provide differentiation on the facades according to the needs of the user.
Access to the lower level pool and terrace areas is provided by a staircase from the terrace located on the first floor between the two branches.
