The M’bour Villas project area is located in the resort area of ​​Sal, an oceanfront holiday region near Dakar, the capital of Senegal. The coastal town, which is developing rapidly due to its climate, sea, long coastline and proximity to the capital of the 4th biggest economy of Africa, has motivated many foreign and domestic investors to produce tourism facilities. In addition to large hotels, summer residences are also planned in the region. One of these plans is a 5-hectare land with a slight slope, also located on the 2nd band on the coast. Here, an inner lagoon is formed seasonally as a result of sea floods. The surrounding parcels come together and make this lagoon permanent and it is designed as a natural park, walking and recreation area for the inner parcels. In the work area overlooking this lagoon and nature park with its wide facade, it will be produced in the Euromod factory in Istanbul with volumetric modular construction technique, and production will be made with the residences we designed.

Our land master plan design takes the natural park and slope as the main determining factors. The main entrance axis, social facility and other complementary functions take the wide bridge of the nature park.

The social facility is designed to meet the basic needs (market, pharmacy, hairdresser, fitness, health cabin, etc.) and to prepare a quality social area within the site. The shared pool and the shady courtyard connected to the pool form the focus of this building.

Relatively large units in the smaller and deeper part of the land divided by the social facility and entrance offer very special spatial experiences with deep gardens and spreading plan scheme. In the narrower long part, two rows of housing units are distinguished as row houses with a view and houses with courtyards that are closed into themselves.

The second secondary axle will be used as a service entrance and will create an opening opportunity in tight order. Children’s playgrounds are arranged on this axis.

Zone 1 – consists of row houses with park view and sloping ground.

Zone 2 – It is on the road side. It lives around its inner courtyard.

Zone 3 – Wider spread over the land. It has a setup that can be expanded if desired.

Pockets to gather, whisper, group and play were opened in the common area, occasionally disturbing the order.
