Indigo Restaurant 6

Indigo Restaurant

Antalya, Turkey

The project area is located within the tourism complex located among the exuberant Mediterranean greenery of the Kemer district of Antalya. It is a study that includes an amphitheatre, beach use, and restaurant functions in an area of 2000 m2.

This organic spatial organization consisting of elliptical forms is planned to create a fluid circulation between spaces with different functions. The ellipses in the amphitheatre rise to form seating units and are aligned with the stage structure in the middle. On the other side, ellipses form the seating units of the restaurant.

In daylight, the gray-dominant floor finish makes the area neutral and the greenery draws attention and the space gives a panoramic view towards the seaside. While after daylight, wooden finishing at the roof gives more warmth ambient and increases the contrast between the floor.

There was an existing rectangular single-storey masonry building that started in the amphitheater and extended to the beach. With the rounding we made on some walls of this building and the window spaces we opened, it was tried to gain integrity in the design.

It is aimed to lighten the volume in the 3rd dimension by separating and staggering these geometric forms on the top cover.

The wood coating material is continued at the beach deck, cabana, and beach furniture.
