MK Hotel

Merkez, Antalya

The project near Antalya Airport presents a cohesive integration of public and private spaces, merging functional architecture with a strong sense of identity. It features multiple hotel buildings with commercial, healthcare, and hospitality areas, alongside three distinct high-rise towers for residential use.
The hotel’s two-story reception flows seamlessly into a sunken courtyard pool through a transparent façade, framed by landscaped gardens. Floor gardens on each level create a “green ribbon” effect that softens and enriches the facade. The upper hotel floors incorporate terraces with movable perforated panels, enhancing privacy, sun control, and facade rhythm.
The three sculptural towers, located behind the hotel, employ perforated metal panels that modulate sunlight and privacy, while adding dynamic light and shadow play. The design reinterprets the conventional high-rise façade, presenting a lighter, more contemporary expression.
Ground-floor duplex lofts offer private garden access, while upper-floor apartments are wrapped with terraces featuring private pools. Movable metal mesh blinds around the terraces provide a consistent façade aesthetic and functional control over sun and privacy. The penthouse suites are crowned with expansive rooftop terraces, offering panoramic city views and a heightened sense of exclusivity.
Public spaces, such as community terraces, gardens, and a pool, link the towers, promoting social interaction and leisure, while the basement parking ensures functional connectivity. The project redefines the local architectural vernacular, blending transparency, landscape integration, and modern materiality to create a dynamic urban intervention.
