At the most active point of Karakoy, the facade, which moves from the character of the region but preserves its modern language, interacts with its surroundings with its unique understanding. Karaköy has always been a reference point for Istanbul. The district, whose wealth, trade and orientation are read in many layers of the metropolis, is constantly undergoing transformation. The compact settlement texture contains small parcels and narrow facades. For this reason, walking around Karaköy can be a tiring experience sometimes. The facade design, which can reflect the busy schedule of the 28 rooms, the ground cafe and the terrace restaurant with a calm but strong language, gained particular importance during my work.
